Today, we’re excited to announce the signing of a Sale and Purchase Agreement to acquire a prime plot of land at 21 Jalan Buroh in Singapore, paving the way for DayOne Data Center’s first data center in the country.

This acquisition follows the award of new data center capacity to DayOne by Singapore’s Infocomm Media Development Authority (IMDA) and Economic Development Board (EDB) under the Pilot Data Centre Call for Application (DC-CFA) initiative.

With a total gross floor area of 39,978 square meters near the Jurong East Data Center Cluster, the site offers potential for future capacity scaling through innovative power supply technologies when opportunities arise. The first phase is targeted to be operational around Q4 2026, allowing DayOne to meet the growing demand for high-performance computing, cloud, and AI services in Singapore.

Jamie Khoo, CEO of DayOne, expressed her enthusiasm: “This land acquisition is a major milestone as we continue our strategy to expand in key markets like Singapore. The capacity allocation underscores our commitment to supporting the country’s digital economy while prioritizing energy efficiency and sustainability. Singapore’s leadership in digital innovation strengthens DayOne’s ability to serve global customers from this vital location.”
