This week, DayOne hosted its first Tokyo Partner Night, bringing together 150 guests—including our partners, industry leaders, and key stakeholders from across the digital infrastructure ecosystem.

A highlight of the evening was the signing of a strategic Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with a Japan-based world-leading industrial group. This collaboration will integrate cutting-edge modular data center technology and expertise in energy and cooling systems, enabling faster, more scalable deployments while optimizing efficiency, sustainability, and performance.

Through such and future partnerships, DayOne is set to further strengthen our end-to-end supply chain capabilities, building on the robust foundation we have established in Malaysia and Southeast Asia to support our regional and global growth. We aim to advance the supply chain, bring technology to the broader data center space, and drive forward the entire digital infrastructure sector.

Japan is one of the world’s largest and fastest-growing data center markets. Since entering in 2024, our presence in Japan is about more than just digital infrastructure—it's about enabling technological innovation, enhancing local technology ecosystems, strengthening industrial collaborations, and accelerating the development of future-ready digital infrastructure that supports global enterprises, cloud, and AI leaders.

Our leadership team reaffirmed DayOne's commitment to Japan and our partners. William Huang, Chairman of DayOne, said, "At DayOne, we have always been pioneers—creating markets and leading the way in data center infrastructure. Japan is a key part of our expansion, and we are committed to growing alongside our valued customers and partners to drive this market forward." Jamie Khoo, CEO of DayOne, said, "Our partnerships and close collaboration with ecosystem players are a testament to how we bring together the best expertise in industrial innovation and digital infrastructure. By integrating advanced solutions in power and cooling, we are setting new industry benchmarks in speed, efficiency, and sustainability."

We were also honored to have our full board in attendance, with Board Advisor Ken Miyauchi, former President & CEO of SoftBank Corp. (SoftBank Vision Fund is a DayOne Series B investor), and Vice Chairman of the Board Gary Wojtaszek, former President and CEO of CyrusOne, addressing the audience—further reinforcing DayOne’s commitment to Japan and fostering strong, long-term collaborations.

As a company that prioritizes both global and local partnerships, we are excited about what lies ahead. With our growing ecosystem of partners, we are poised to reshape the future of digital infrastructure in Japan and beyond.

To all who joined us, thank you for being part of this journey of partnership and technological innovation. Let’s continue to build, innovate, and lead—together.
